The building

Amarande Hotel in Ayia Napa runs guest comfort and hotel operations off the same automation system. The touch panels are the guest's hub; the Mini Server manages the Variable Refrigerant Flow plant behind them, so heating and cooling are controlled centrally rather than negotiated room by room.

The problem

• Environmental control a guest can use — lighting, shutters and temperature, no instructions required.
• Privacy and service — Do Not Disturb and Make Up Room signalled from the room, reaching housekeeping directly.
• Room service requested from the panel and routed to the right team.

What was installed

• Touch panels as the central hub for every hospitality function in the room.
• Inspinia Mini Server controlling the VRF systems, giving one point of management for heating and cooling.
• VRF add-ons for accurate per-room setpoints.
• Cloud architecture, so diagnostics, updates and system-wide changes happen remotely.
• KNX-based HVAC control adjustable directly from the panel.

Results
